Coming together for the cause

In 1980, Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became the Susan G. Komen organization and the beginning of a global movement which has grown into the world’s largest nonprofit source of funding for the fight against breast cancer, with the mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever. This organization is the focus for Saturday night’s fundraiser.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide and the second-most common cancer overall. In 2015, an estimated 231,840 cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in the U.S. alone. We all know someone affected. This is your chance to help. The prayer for the money donated is that it will help victims and their families through times of uncertainty. May they find comfort in knowing we are so many that truly cares.

On Saturday we come together as a community showing love and support for those affected by breast cancer. Together we can make a difference. There is a time to receive and a time to give. It is amazing that when we give we receive so much.

The evening is packed with amazing and talented artists, fashion show, live music and raffle. Drinks and pupus available, in addition to local beer tasting by Lanikai Brew.

We would like to show gratitude to the generous donations:
